SSHD is another word for Solid State Hybrid Drive.

SSHD drives usually have like 1-10GB of SSD (Solid State Drive) of cache. The cache is only used for frequently accessed files. The Hard Drive determines which files are put into the cache area which the most frequently accessed files would be stored but only as much as the cache can hold. For it to take effect you will need to use the SSHD over time.

Personally I don't see it worthwhile having a positive effect on the performance of the computer.

Having a 1TB HDD for storage / games and a 256GB SSD for the operating system will be a better choice because it will definitely show a lot faster boot times compared to a SSHD or Hard Drive.
