Broke volume connector on motherboard. Possible to fix?

Hi everyone

I was replacing my rear housing case of my iPhone 6.

But when i was unplugging the connector of the volume buttons, it broke off. :(

If you look at the picture (https://www.dropbox.com/s/4o7zp7gd3uvb0a...) you can see that I have put a circle around the connector that broke off. It's supposed to be at the place of the arrow.

Does someone know if this could be fixed (soldering or glueing?) .

Thank you in advanced

You certainly can't glue it back on.

It needs to have electrical connection between the pins and the logic board. The connector itself is very heat sensitive and will melt rather quickly and easily if not soldered properly. Chances are that the connector is physically damaged as well so you will need to have a replacement connector on hand.

Unless you are a very experienced DIY solderer, this is not something that I would recommend doing.

If you don't have the tools necessary, you should consult with a qualified repair shop that does micro soldering for a proper repair. You don't want to potentially damage an otherwise good and valuable phone.
