Philips 1.2mm screw badly stripped. help!

I was repairing my iPhone and I came across the final screw that allows to remove the shield to the LCD connectors. Then, it strips. :(

I've tried everything to a rubber band and super glue, using a different screwdriver and such, and all it did was strip the screw even more! The head of the screw is now in the shape of a square.

So any suggestions? I haven't used a drill or dremel or screw extractor as it is my last resort, so any other ideas would be great.

Rachel, The heads of the screws are pretty soft, try a mini set of vise grips clamped on the head or you can try cutting a slot in the head of screw to accept a slotted screw driver enabling you to turn out screw. As a last resort you may have to cut the head off with a dremel like tool and use pliers to pull up on screw shaft while spinning out. Good Luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
