My iPhone 4 just died. How do I fix it?

So my Iphone 4 was on low battery and i decided to charge it. Every charger i tried, official apple chargers and unofficial chargers, came up with "This accessory may not be supported. Eventually the battery died and i put it on charge and it said it was charging.

Even after waiting a couple of hours, it still showed the dead battery symbol. I put it on over night and yet when i woke up the battery was still dead as it showed the dead battery sign. I plugged it into iTunes yet iTunes doesn't recognize it.

I tried doing a reset but my home button doesn't work so thats not possible. I tried plugging it into my computer for an hour but still it says the battery is dead. I then opened it up, disconnected and connected the battery and... nothing.

Well now the phone shows only a black screen, isn't recognized by iTunes and no matter how much i charge it, doesn't seem to turn on or work, even when i press the power button or hold it down. Any help?

seems like your 30 pin dock connector is shot. Buy a new one from ifixit, and buy a new water sensor to put in it so dust doesn't enter the water sensor hole (tell apple your doing this, if the old sensor is red when viewed from the outside), and then reinstall it. stick in the new water sensor, red side facing inwards, white facing outwards, and TADA. phone works again. view the ifixit guide for iphone 4 dock replacement.
