Screen wont turn on after screen replacement

Hi. I replaced the screen on a friends iPhone 6s. After changing it, the screen wont come on (no backlight or anything. I did everything as stated and i know its not longscrew damage because it wouldnt come on even before i put the plate on. The phone is on as i can text it and it dings and makes a noise when i plug it into a charger. Ideas?

Update: With the new screen, im able to look very closely and see the display, meaning the backlight isnt working. It also doesnt work on the original screen.

Backlight filter blown. Usually happens when you unplug / plug in the screen with the battery still connected to the board.

No need for testing as you already confirmed backlight since the screen still displays an image but with no backlight.

If you want it fixed take it to someone that does board level repairs / fixes backlight issue on iPhone 6S.

There must be a blown component on the backlight line. It's very easy to short out the line with the screen connector.

Not sure if this video will help you, but it can start giving you the info you need to get it solved

Thank you. Is there any way to test this? Since both screens do not work I sadly suspect that this is the issue... I hope not. What's the best way to test this and what's the easiest/cheapest way to fix? I don't have any microsoldering tools or experience.
