Navibot goes to home base after seconds

Hello everybody,

I've a problem with this robot. When it starts, after few seconds it goes automatically to the home base.

I thought it was a battery problem, so I replace it, but same result...

Any idea of what the !&&* could it be the problem?

Some component to test, to replace...bah!

Thanx a lot, iFix users!

Hi,

Is the battery showing fully charged?

Do all three button icons on the robot display come on when you switch it on?

Have you checked that the recharging button on the display panel is not sticking in the operated position?

Sorry about all the questions just trying to narrow down the problem

Ok, now it's clear.

Yes, all is perfect, the battery charges correctly. I've also cleaned all the sensors, the dust bin, everything...

Ciao,

Hi,

My only suggestion now is to try a power reset and see if this resolves the problem.

With the unit disengaged from the charging dock, open it and disconnect the battery from the systemboard. Once you have isolated the battery supply, press and hold the ON button for about 30 seconds to dissipate any residual power in the unit. After this release the button and reconnect the battery to the systemboard, reassemble the unit and test if it works correctly.

Nah, already done. Nothing to do...

At this point I think the solution is to throw it in the dust vbin =)

Hi Jayeff,

I confirm you that the battery is fully charged.

The 3 buttons are displayed at the power on.

But I've not understood the last question...forgive me but i'm not so used to speak in english.
