When door closed is not booting and you cant hear the chime

But when the door is open and laid flat.It will boot and you can hear the chime and you will see the startup icon.

I checked all the power supply cables and HD cables , But are all fine.

Is there a switch some where ? I thought it was the other way around ...Meaning when the door is open should not boot

and when door closed should

Please help.

Options

There is no door opened or closed switch. It should boot either way. Lay it on its left side and try starting then open the door and try. Please tell us the results. Also, when not starting do you get a light on the power button or any sounds or other lights?

Ok , No Chime sound when not booting , But yes the Switch light will blink and the light on Cinema 17 inch switch also lights on , But no display...

Ok I found the problem...There are 4 Holding screw sockets under the processor Board (Remove Heathsink then the board) Those were very loose and almost of the plate , Tighten those and reassembled and all is well now...Thanks
