Front camera isn't working.

Hello!

My s7 front camera isn't working for quite a long time. its just dark. Dark as in nothing comes up when I turn it on except for option and dark screen.

Once I deleted some apps which I thought is interfering with my camera and it worked. But the next time I rebooted my phone front camera stopped working again. I denied camera permission for all apps just to make sure nothing is interfering, but still it didn't work. What should I do?

I would try a factory reset to try to get it to work, if this doesn't work it may need to be replaced, in such case I would try to claim under warranty.

Try other camera apps, such as OpenCamera.

Try a factory set or hard reset.(This will remove your phone data)

Turn off the device.

Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key, then press and hold the Power key.

When the device logo screen displays, release only the Power key

When the Android logo displays, release all keys ('Installing system update' will show for about 30 - 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).

Press the Volume down key several times key to highlight 'wipe data / factory reset.'

Press Power button to select.

Press the Volume down key until 'Yes -- delete all user data' is highlighted.

Press Power button to select and start the master reset.

When the master reset is complete, 'Reboot system now' is highlighted.

Press the Power key to restart the device.
