screen is a bunch of colors what do I do?

A pencil got stuck between the screen and keyboard and I shut it and now the screen has a black mark and is a bunch of different colors what do I do?

Hi,

Here is a link to the service manual for your Ideapad.

On p.62 it details the pre-requisites and procedures necessary to remove the LCD panel. To install the new panel just reverse the procedure.

On p.82 (item #2) you'll find the part number for the LCD screen. As there are 3 variants of the screen ensure that you get the correct one for your model. The correct part number should be stamped on the back of your old LCD screen

If you search online using just the number only (do not add Lenovo or Ideatab or model number etc.) you will get results for suppliers of the part. Select the one that suits you best.

replace the LCD, should be relatively straight forward, locate a new lcd screen, pop the bezel off, search for instructions on how to do if you don't know, replace lcd, done.
