Sticky liquid exploded on screen, which is now dead, but boots up

Hey so my MacBook pro keyboard is still responding (caps light, can restart computer) but the screen does nothing after liquid damage. Can i replace the top assembly, the lcd alone, or call this computer toast? Would the connection site be fried from the water damage? Has anyone else had this experience?

When you boot your computer, try putting a flashlight up to the Apple on the back of your screen. Do you see a part of the screen or is it completely black?
