Why is my gas gauge acting eraticly

Gas gauge reads full then empty in secounds

@bot , brad, could be a few things causing this most likely is the fuel sending unit in the tank as GM's were bad in these years, other possibilities are bad connections, check ground/ plug at fuel pump harness under truck for loose/corrosion,burnt, or interior fuel gage could be faulty. Check the attached trouble shooting links,instruction and guides, Good luck.
