Hi,

Do you get any picture if you press the menu button on the remote? If so what is the source of your video - antenna, HDMI etc? If it is antenna try rescanning for your channels.

If you do not get a menu appearing when you press the menu button, try switching off the TV, then the power outlet to the TV and disconnecting the power cord from the outlet. Then press and hold the power button on the TV for 30 seconds to reset the TV. Reconnect the power cord to the outlet and switch on the outlet. Turn on the TV by pressing the power button on the TV. Check what happens. You may have to rescan for your TV channels if the antenna is the signal source.

Hi, Are you talking about the screen 'backlighting' when you say that there are LED lights on in the back of the TV?

try holding a torch at an angle close to the screen and see if you can detect a picture. If so, with the power removed from the TV take the back off and check the power board for blown or faulty capacitors and also check the cable connections from the power board to the other boards for faulty joints and loose connections. If all seems OK you may have to replace the power board. Locate the part number on the board and search for it online using just the number only (do not add Vizio etc) to get suppliers.

I put my torch at a angel and it melted the screen a little, was that suppose to happen ?

@No Name what kind of Torch did you use? A torch in this case refers to a flashlight and it should not have melted your screen
