Where this part goes inside my Coolpix 520 (same as P530)

I disassembled my Coolpix P520 using the P530 instructions. However, while I was troubleshooting the lens error, a small 1 1/2 cm size flex metal piece (like an electrical contact) fell out, and I do not know where it goes. I have photos of the piece, but I do not know how to attach them to this question? I was hoping for an exploded diagram, or someone familiar with the components. I can send you the photos of the piece.
