Why won't my laptop charge?

My laptop died, and I tried to plug it into an outlet to charge it but nothing is happening. I tried multiple outlets, so I know that that is not the problem. How can I make it turn back on?

Options

If you have tried separate outlets and there is still no power coming to the laptop, the charger may be malfunctioning. After double-checking whether or not the charger is firmly plugged into a working outlet, head to the trouble shooting page to learn how to correct this issue:
