Problems with screen(flikering) bottom left loose

Have an issue with a Macbook Pro 15 Inch 2009, the bottom left part of the LCD screen has become lose from the lid. The Macbook works perfect if I dont move the lid, but once I move it or touch the screen on that area, I get a (1) inch vertical line, either solid or flickering, on the left side of the screen. I have attached a picture resembling what Im talking about, it is not quite as bad as this picture, but it is starting to look somewhat like that, very noticeable once the lip is close. I imagine I need to remove the LCD screen and maybe replace the LCD cable? any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!

Start by removing the display to see if the screws have pulled loose or a weld has been broken. Take a picture of the broken area so we can determine what has failed and suggest a repair path. Here's the guide for doing it:

MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Mid 2009 Display Replacement

When the display is off take a look at the lower left hand side about and inch up from the corner. This machine has a high failure rated at that point with the display frame breaking.
