SSD doesn't work via SATA

Recently bought a OCZ Trion 150 SSD 480GB and cloned my existing HDD using superduper then tried carbon copy and both worked fine. When I instal the SSD inside my MacBook Pro 13 2009 and connect it via SATA and try to boot the SSD cannot be found.

If we review your systems specs we see your SATA port is only SATA II (3.0 Gb/s). Now if we look at your SSD we see its a fixed speed SATA III (6.0 Gb/s).

Basically this SSD won't work in your system ;-{

You'll need a SSD that offers SATA II compatibility. As an example a Samsung 850 EVO offers support for SATA I (1.5 Gb/s), SATA II (3.0 Gb/s) & SATA III (6.0 Gb/s).
