Do I need a heat gun?
I have a broken iPod touch 5th gen screen and don't have a heat gun.. is there another way I can open without a source of heat? And would a hair dryer work?

Ive never driven hair to know but you need to heat the glass to around 200 degrees . Ive never used a hair dryer but if it can produce that kind of heat then maybe. Don't try without a heat source and make sure if you do not to overheat it

Do you know where I can find a heat gun that operates at 200 degrees? All the ones I find have 2 settings, 575 degrees, and something over a 1000 degrees.
if you go on ebay or amazon and put in heat station you will find multiple unites at a wide variety of prices. most have variable heat settings
