LCD Shield stuck & seems different than photo

Hey guys, so I got an iPhone 5 here (A1428) and I need to change the screen. Once I opened it I saw that the interior is different than an iPhone 5, and I can't remove the LCD metal shield. Here a pic:

That's the most extreme case of screen lift I've ever seen.

The frame came off the glass. You should be able to pry that out with a small screwdriver. Start at the bottom on a corner and gently pry up the shield. The only thing you have to be careful of is not ripping the flex cables at the top. So mind those, then pry the frame and shield up.

Haha, it was actually pretty easy to open the screen. I didn't have to use force at all. I guess it separated during the fall. Thanks a lot it worked!

That screen's seen better days. Its pretty common to have a corner lift off the frame since a lot of places use cheap glue. I've never seen a whole frame come off like that.

Thanks for the pic. It helped a ton.
