Not Booting up, Magsafe always Green, Battery Chrg Ind Blinking 1 LED

Measuring Voltage on battery cable - only shows 3.4v on some pins..

no where do i measure any kind of charging voltage.

same issue with another person's Magsafe charger (85w).

Steps taken - removed battery connector - held power down 30 seconds, tried all kinds of variations of power cycle resets.

If you have the battery disconnected you should be able to start up the system directly via a good MagSafe adapter. If you can't then you have a deeper problem within the system than the battery.

Did the system get wet at any point? If it did I would suspect you have liquid damage and need to pull the logic board to clean it and inspect the keyboard. Do you see any staining or corrosion or damaged components?

Is the MagSafe adapter cable worn in any way? Bumps, cuts or exposed wires? Is the connector face on both the adapter and system clean and not damaged? You'll need to get a new power adapter and may need a new DC-In board.

Thanks for reply Dan, MagSafe is good, charges another macbook - voltage measures good on spring posts.. no wet incidents that i know of. when i measure points along battery cable - i never find any higher points than 3.4.
