iPhone 5s won't power up after battery and home button replacement.
I replaced the battery (plastic tabs broke, so I heated to warm and had no trouble getting it out without serious prying necessary); broke the home button cable getting the phone opened (Grrrrr), so got a new one and replaced it. Everything seemed to plug in fine; felt the nice little tiny "snap" thing with each re-attachment of cables. I've plugged it in to charge, but after many minutes, nothing.
What are the most likely things I'm looking at now? It would be great if I had some idea what is most (and next, and so on) likely to be the problem.
Thanks!
Judy
Is this a good question?
It does seem to be charging; the phone is slightly warm after being plugged in for awhile.

try holding home and power until the apple logo appears. If that doesn't work, plug it into your computer to see if iTunes sees it.
We're trying to figure out if its the phone or the display that isn't working.

Is it drawing power from the charger? If so how many amps?

iTunes does not see it, Josh.
Ethan, how do I determine that?
