Macbbok doesnt charge and is now dead.

Hello, so about a few months ago I spilled some water on my Mac, took all precautions to prevent water damage but I dont think they were enough. I noticed that my Mac wouldn't charge unless the screen was up and the battery life was terrible. eventually it died and now it wont turn on or charge. Apple bar genius said the battery is fine but he noticed some residue, from the water spill. do u guys think if I clean it I can get it charging again? any tips on how ?

The first thing I would do is remove the battery. Are you near the machine now? If so I would open it up and check for corrosion of any sort. Check connections in particular and reassemble and test without the battery. If all is well inspect the battery for swelling or other damage. If it looks good you can try it but be ready to remove it if there are problems. I am making a guess as to which MBP you have. Good luck Ralph
