The red button facility no longer works

When I press the red button, a window appears with this message: "Your TV needs an update to access this BBC service. Update your TV Apps through your App portal or store (and TV firmware if required)" There is then a yellow button saying MENU.

When I press the yellow button, the TV returns to the original channel it was on before trying to press the red button, and it is not possible to change channels without turning the TV off and then on again.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Get your Model # off of the back of your computer and then get a 4Gig USB Drive and go to Samsung's webpage and download the updated firmware to that thumb-drive and open the file(UNZIP) on that drive making sure it is opened on the root level of the thumb-drive. Plug the thumb-drive into the maintenance USB port of your TV. Then load the new firmware using the firmware upgrade in your menu settings of your TV's menu system. Wait until the upgrade is complete. (Do Not turn off the TV during this otherwise you could permanently break your TV. )
