CAN'T OPEN MY iPhone! NEED HELP NOW!
So my iphone5 was working well last night but when i woke up this morning it was shutting down. Like there's this buffering thing in the middle of the black screen that just goes round and round. I tried charging it and pressing the power and home button. But nothing works. I tried looking for answers online but nothing seem to work. :/
Is this a good question?

When you reboot the phone (hold power and home for 10 or more seconds) does the phone actually reboot? When/if it reboots does it go back to this powering down screen?

it doesn't work. It's still stuck in that same black screen with that shutting down logo (not the apple logo, it looks like the buffering this you see on youtube) in the middle.

Aside from restoring it and losing all of your unsaved date you might need to take it somewhere locally and disconnect/reconnect the battery. Occasionally these can "lock up". Also might need a restore. If you're information is saved via iCloud I would just restore the device via recovery mode tonight.

If you can't hard shut down using home and power button for 10 seconds then one of the buttons are definitely broken.
