Loose-ish Home button after Front Panel Replacement

I just replaced the front panel of an iphone 6 (space grey), and everything works fine, except for the home button being slightly loose. There is some wobble room and putting your finger on it you can feel the slight movement.

Is this a problem that can be solved by buying adhesive replacement?

If you are referring to the home button gasket here then yes:

This can also be down to the fact that the glass isn't right. Copy screens use thin glass and sometimes have to add bits of plastic to make the home button sit right

Trust.. The best thing to do is cut a piece of sticky tape out (the size of your home button, or maybe just a tiny bit bigger) if your pro, stencil a circle shape out and place it over your home button, it will make your home button kinda like the iPhone 7, it's a quick easy fix until a new gasket or home button is provided. you’ll thank me later ;)
