Android has stopped, won't reinitiate

Yesterday my phone was working. But this morning when I restarted it after turning it off for the night when I went to bed, I can't make or receive calls or access any of the apps, the phone giving me the message "Process Android.process.acore has stopped" when I tried. Tried restarting it numerous times all with the same result. Do I need to do a master reset, or is there some other way of fixing the problem?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Yes you will need to perform a hard reset. Sometimes clearing the cache will help but it sounds like the android os crashed.

Turn off the device.

Press and hold down the Volume up and Power keys at the same.

When the Alcatel startup screen appears, release the Power key.

When the Android system recovery screen appears, release the Volume up key.

Use the Volume up/down key to highlight wipe data/factory reset.

Press the Power key to select.

Press the Volume down key to select "Yes -- delete all user data".

Press the Power key to select.

Press the Power key to select Reboot system now.
