Why can't I hear any sound coming from the device?

When I try to play music out of the device, I cannot hear anything. The display shows that I am adjusting the volume, but no sound is coming from the speaker.

If you are hearing no sound from the speaker but are able to adjust the volume on the display, you may need to replace the speaker. The speaker is connected directly to the mother board. This process will require you to disconnect the broken speaker and replace it by soldering the new speaker to the motherboard. You can reference the soldering guide from the troubleshooting page.
