My Motorola Whisper microphone stopped working out of the blue. Never dropped or got it wet. Everything else works, but people cannot hear me.

Given that you say that it is less than one year old, I suggest that you first verify the purchase date of the headset and if it is less than 12 months since you got it, consult the warranty documentation that came with the headset as to what you have to do to make a warranty claim for a repair or replacement.
