My Panasonic Television won't turn on, or flash red light at all.

I have done everything I can find, but nothing has worked. It is an older television, and can only be controlled by the remote as it has no buttons on the product itself. My remote has fresh batteries, but it does not seem to be affecting the TV at all. The power chord is plugged in, and the socket is working.

I actually got it from my parents, do you know where I can find this information?

@memecidal , I believe there should be a manufacturers tag on the back or possibly side of TV,

@memecidal start off by removing the back from your TV. Then check a few things according to the flow chart. you will need a multimter for that.

This image shows you which board is what.Concentrate for now on board 12 which is your power board.

This image from here shows the fuse. Unplug the TV and measure the fuse for continuity, or leave the set plugged in and check for power. Set multimeter to AC volts 220 and place black lead on ground and touch the end of the fuse with the red lead. Measure both ends. Let us know what you find.

Your PSU may look slightly different since there are a few varieties for this TV. When in doubt, post plenty of good images with your question. For that use this guide.
