First, make sure your charging cable is not broken. Also, try plugging your charger into a different outlet. If your charging cable and outlet are not the cause, you more than likely have a faulty battery. Check out the Insignia Flex 10.1 NS-P16AT10 troubleshooting page for more information about your tablet.

hey Morgan my tablet was doing the same thing and i have 2 pillows i put my tablet on and it started working it just had to be a little higher so if that happens try that also

Panda and Morgan, I have a similar problem with mine. Didn't charge all night, followed Panda's advice and set the tablet higher up and had to pull the cord down a tad and pin it under the table to get it to charge. Panda, has that been working dependably? Has it ruined the tablet to do it this way? Why can't we have nice things?

Mine does the same thing. But I had to try to turn it on to give me the display of 0% then it would start charging. The only problem is is a slow charge now. The cable I used to use now sucks out the charge instead of gaining power. I have two good cable and one works the other doesn't. I am not sure what else to do. I will try the trick of raising it but I think the battery on this system sucks. It did work nicely in the beginning but somewhere along the line it lost its ability of the battery to contain a consistent charge. All I do is watch TV on it. Any other suggestions would be helpful. Thank uou

I have tried all those things and realized that if ur tablet is in a cold room like mine was it zaps the batter and after rubbing the bk of my tablet to warm it up it started charging again. So fyi if its to cold it won't hold a charge.

I am trying all these things but none of them are working. I have a INSIGNIA pad/tablet whatever you wanna call it. If you have any help for me please help.

I had the same problem, I bought higher quality cable and that solved the problem. It appears that they come with lower quality cables to cut costs. I have two of these tablets, and both had the same problem. Get better charging cables.

Where did you get the higher quality cables?

by

I found some at bestbuy

What type of cable did the tablet need to take a charge?

by

Same size as what came with the tablet. Just better quality. Still working great.

I will tell you this the Insignia Tablets are no good, slow as a snail and a snail is faster. I bought one last year, it is slow as it goes. Today, after one year in Dec. it won't hold a charge, I will not ever purchase this again! My small Kindle Fire is so much better and I paid less. I'm going back to the Kindle.

Hold it sideways up all night, still a very bad tablet. The processor is bad and it is just the tablet folks sorry to say. I had 3 Kindles and I wanted to try this, and all of them were better then this. I'm so disappointed about it, I was so a happy to try another brand, and as usual I got screwed, like someone said above, why can't we have nice things, just once I'm adding that work.
