Windshield wiper arm not attached

How do I reattach the wiper blade arm on drivers side ?

@troubleincali , Your BMW's wiper arm should be held on by a retaining nut, usually found under the plastic wiper arm trim cover. Your arm may be broken at the hinge in this case you will have to get a replacement. If it did indeed come loose and fell off you will have to find a correct nut to replace the one that has fallen off. If it is just a loose arm, remove the wiper arms trim cover, properly position the arm on windshield and retighten the nut snugly, put trim cover back in place. You may have to get the nut if lost from the dealer to ensure you get proper size and locking knurls on base of nut. You can also compare how it should be installed by comparing it to the arm on the other side. Check the attached video link,instruction and guide to basic wiper arm removal/replacement, Good luck.
