Computer not powering on. Faint green light on magsafe charger

Recently, after a night of not using my Macbook Air, it will no longer power on. The MagSafe charger has a faint green light when plugged in. Also when the computer is plugged in the is a faint ticking noise within the computer. I have tried multiple magsafe chargers. I have also disconnect the DC in board and re connect. I fear that either my motherboard or DC in board needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if there is anyway to tell 100% what is wrong with my computer.

Thanks a ton.

If you have a multi meter you could test your adapter, I'm not sure which pins should have what but a quick google search should inform you that. Also check your port and make sure no unwanted trash has gotten in there. The pins should be gold, any other color and they may not be conducting electricity any more and should be cleaned.
