Hi,

What is the full make and model number of your tablet?

You would have to know that the connector pin wiring configuration of the new screen was the same as for your screen before you could try another LCD screen.

Is there a number printed on the back of the LCD screen itself in your tablet? If there is, try searching online using just that number (do not add anything else such as X tab or lcd screen etc) to see if any suppliers show up.

HI, It's not so much that the connector is the same, it is what wires are run internally from the screen e.g backlighting, etc to the connector terminals on the back of the screen. The new screen has to be wired exactly the same way. Without a schematic diagram of both screens old and new you have no way of knowing. It may be that when you connect the new screen that it may be rendered useless immediately because of the wrong connections.

The best that you can try is to search for your tablet model on places like Ebay etc. where they are selling your model tablet as 'Faulty good for parts' and that they can verify that the screen was working before it failed and that the price is low enough to justify buying it.
