water damaged iPhone 6

iphone 6 water damaged

i have clean the motherboard with 99% alcool removed the metal seals safetly with heat gun with 300C and still no life iphone won't turn on or won't heat at any area

i have replaced the motherboard in a workin iphone 6 just to be sure but still won't tun on

Maybe the power management IC is dead.

i think that could be the reason but i have a dilema between U2 ic and the power managment ic

You need to start probing the logic board for shorts on the power rails. If you just randomly start changing IC's, you could get lucky but you could also be applying too much heat on every other component for nothing. That could lead to disaster.

Find the schematics for the iPhone 6 (they are out there!) and start checking PP_BATT_VCC & PP_VCC_MAIN. Then start looking at all of the voltage rails to U2 and from the PMIC.

The problem with water damaged boards is there may still be corrosion ongoing underneath the IC's.
