Hello, turn on your computer first. Then you plug it in. Open windows media and go to ur mp3 player.go to the sync option the open files. Go to downloaded files. Drag your song to the sync section. Press sync.

Hi, Does it show that it is charging when you just connect it to a laptop? Have you tried a different USB cable or port in the laptop to see if it works?

Yes, the device charges, and have tried all USB ports and different cables. The problems seems to be with the device.
