won't burn a CD-R

It won't burn CD-R

it keeps spitting out.

I get a message please insert blank CD but I am inserting blank

CD. I think something wrong with optical drive

Bushing is correct, the first thing is to try a different brand and type of disk. Blow the drive out using canned air. If this fails the first thing to replace is the "optical drive adapter board". Next the drive itself, Apple part Number 661-5172. This machine is new so the drive may be a little hard to find. Ask iFixit if they can locate the board and/or drive here: http://www.ifixit.com/Info/contact
