Just bought used 99 honda accord lx. The temp control knob is upside down so when u turn the arrow its pointing right to left on bottom not where the heat/ cold are marked. How to take off to fix or replace?

Hi,
Looking at this You Tube video which shows replacement knobs, they should just pull straight off. There are no screws holding it onto the shaft.

Hi. I watched this video it just shows u the replacement knob and dimensions.
Maybe bc its put on upside down, i tried pulling it off no luck.
someone could have inserted it upside down to prevent it from falling off.
Its like a Oven knob, There is a pin that sticks out and it has a "Canyon" down the middle of the pin to prevent the knob from turning with the shaft.
Since its reversed the "canyon" doesn't match with the knobs "Canyon" so it will be very difficult to remove. Try a pair of Vise Grips and clamp it onto the knob and pull. you may not be able to do it with bare hands. it was forced on it must be forced off.
