Why is my touch screen not responding?

I disassembled my iPod, following one of the guides, and successfully fixed my home button. Now I've reassembled it but the touch screen does not respond. Any ideas on what could have went wrong, or how I can tell if I need to replace to digitizer or the logic board? Thanks!

Usually this means the cable is not plugged in correctly; try disconnecting it and reconnecting it, taking care to make sure it's in straight.
