Charger Port Replaced , now Home button broken

My iphone5 started to have a faulty charger port that would charge only when the cable was inserted at a certain angle.

I changed the charging port making sure everything fit how it should have and all.

I used a replacement part bought on amazon.

Now the charging port functions correctly, but my home button no longer works, AND siri/voice control will spasm out at times and intensively open itself at will multiple times in a row, completely randomly.

Just wanted to also point out that the lock button has always been faulty and has remained so, but that is not my concern to be honest.

I tried opening it up again and elevating the pins and even squashing them down more, but doesn't seem to make any difference.

Do you guys have any idea as of why the home button might have stopped working?

And a solution on fixing it?

For the old charging port dock have you already tried cleaning out the port because usually it's due to blockage inside the charger port not letting the cable plug in fully.

You may be able to even use the old charger port if it's actually just that.

It's probably a defective (new) charging port.

Yeah thanks but I tried cleaning it before I went through the process of changing it completely as I kept reading it might have just been accumulated dirt

My biggest problem right now is just siri/voice control constant triggering - we are talking 6-7 times in a row when it does
