iPhone 5 freezes making/receiving calls

I dropped my iPhone 5 the other day and after it the phone started losing service all the time. It would drop the service and then regain it back for itself. After a while it stopped losing service but the phone doesn't seem to be able to make or receive calls. When I try to make a call the phone starts to get really slow, even freezing at times, and I can't hear anything both on loudspeaker or the earphone piece (they both work fine upon testing) the number I'm calling to receives the call but also doesn't hear anything. The phone can receive and send text messages and can access the internet through cellular data fine. What's wrong with it? It has been checked by me that it's not the motherboard.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Does yours start to work if you apply pressure to the top glass on the back?

Hi! Did you find any solution for this problem? Or did you at least know what caused it?

Seems to me like it's highly possible that the charging dock is going bad. The charging dock has the cellular antenna, as well as the microphone on it. Try switching that out to see if you have any luck.

Ok , but what about the freezes and massive lag when trying to call or get called ? Sometimes when i call myself from other phone it just answers and then goes to voicemail, and my phone does even show the call i receive .

I think @jberman is right. Should fix the issue. A factory restore after, if things aren't going super smooth, should help to clean those issues up
