Whats the technical name for the silicon gasket inside the kettle?

There is a circle rubber strip that goes around the stainless steel plate which heats up. I knows its used to make it a water proof seal and support the plate but what is the actual technical name for it. I tried searching everywhere.

nabeel, I believe it may be the kettles base to element insulator or base sealing ring in question. You may have to call the manufacturer for this info. directly, as different manufacturers use different names for parts.

Check the attached link for more info., Good luck.

Hey @nabeeljan, did you ever manage to find a name for it? I have similar thing gone missing, and as a result the kettle is not able to stand on its base and wobbles, but I am not sure where to look.
