Can you increase vibration power?

I just ordered a new Vibrate motor for my phone and installed it but the vibration seems to be weaker and i cant feel it when I get a call if the phone is in my pocket, is there a way to increase the power of the motor?

hmm i havent tried replacing one of those yet but i know theres a app you can download off cydia if u jailbreak called Vibrous and u can adjust the vibration settings
