Home Button Looks Different to the one on the Store Page...

Hi guys,

Looking to order a new home button and ribbon cable, but the one listed for the iPad air looks more like the newer iPads with the finger id scanner... whereas the broken one that is currently in the iPad has the outline of a cube like most apple devices before the finger scanner.

This is the part I am looking at...

iPad Air Home Button

The iPad I am reparing's model number is A1474 (Aka iPad Air 1st gen)

So, am I just crazy or is this the corret home button...

EDIT

This is the image that ifixit displays for the iPad air...

So, it is suppost to have the button with the small cube, but why is this one being sold as the corret one for this iPad... store error? Where can I find the correct one?

The square could be a trademark thing. Its 100% the right part, however Apple trademarks odd things. So part makers have to make minor changes to conform. Or it could be that the square would add to the cost of manufacturing and it has zero impact on performance.

Yes, thanks for the response. Support got back to be and confirmed that it doesn't have the cube because of a trademark... hehe so strange.
