Why do I still have a itune logo and usb cord displayed

have just recently changed battery in my a1303 3gs iphone itune logo and usb cord on the screen

@cheapoh sounds to me like your phone is due for a reset. Check this site for that.

Yea you need to plug it into ITunes on a computer it will ask you if you want to restore or update click restore then it will restore your phone to factory settings unless it's iCloud locked then you will need to put in the password after
