How do I open the transformer casing?
The DC wire (cable) from the transformer is broken where it exits from the case. I believe it is a simple matter to repair it but I can't open the casing.

I think this is what you are looking for. If you decide to go ahead with this I wish you luck but feel I must advise you replacement units are available in the 20 to 20 dollar range.
