Broken home button / fingerpr. scanner iPhone 6 after replacement

Hi, i have replaced a new lcd screen to the front metal plate on my Iphone 6 , but unfortunately i damaged some of the small little plugs on the connector on the home button when i loosened it. So my question is , is it possible to loosen the broken connector on the home button and buy a new contact so the fingerprint scanner can function again. Someone who has such a guide to refer to ?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Which part of the home button connector was damaged?

The one on the board?

The one along the backplate?

The tiny piece that goes from the home button?

Please answer and I can help more.

Since the home button is damaged, unfortunately, the Touch ID functionality won't work anymore, even if you replace your home button. If you do replace your home button, it will still "click" to go to the home screen still!

Should not be overly difficult. You need to find the righ type of connector and solder it on.

The main problem is limiting heat damage. FPC and adjoining parts may not take the heat for rework. Also if you destroy it you lose it forever.
