Hello:

I have a web page for you that has the maintenance manual that will give you step by step info.

But please read this note.

If you have the exact motherboard then your operating system will load and run.

Do not handle your motherboard with out discharging your body from static.

First remove the motherboard from your case and touch grab the case metal prior to work. If you leave the case touch grab the case again. Always have your skin intact with the case as you work. The new motherboard should come in a static bag, lay it on the case then remove the motherboard.

Always put in a new battery unless this has been done.

When you are removing the processor don't touch the gold contact points hold by outer case.

Applying new thermal past is essential and not a GOB a light smear. I get the processor seated then smear the processor and smear the heat sink almost not there and then before tight it on rotate the heat sink a wiggle and pull it off to see of you have a full smear.

Take pictures of the inside with the mother board still in and all wires on, more the better as it may be a nice reminder if you have wires and no place to put and no remember.

OK this is actually a fun project, I have done hundreds.

Here is the link for you to see the manual.

Good luck
