lightning caused cluster of horizontal blue lines across top of screen

my buddy had his house hit by lightning, and these blue cluster of pixels started to form horizontal lines at the top of the screen. It was starting from the left side and moving it's way to the right. I assume the lightning was the cause of this, but i can't figure out what could have caused these lines, what part became faulty, and do you think it was from the lightning strike/power surge.

thank you. kind on a short time frame as well. any help would be greatly appreciated.

@gajaundi this could be a t-con board error. Hard to say. I would remove the back and take a look at the boards. Check for blown, domed capacitors as well as other components. Post pictures of the boards with the original question. Thus will not be an easy fix since it is difficult to get a TCL service manual so you will have to rely on what you find...

well i wasn't able to get the television, but the lines continue to consume more and more of the pixels each day. If the image behind the lines/pixels are a color, the lines appear blue, if the image behind the horizontal lines is black, the pixels/lines don't appear. They are black instead of blue. I'm not sure if that helps you at all.

I'm not very trained with flat screen diagnostics, but is there a chance the tc has a panel line defect?

sure it's possible but without checking it anything will only be a guess.
