Display Problem, Distortion, Flicker

Okay my screen distorts and shown in the picture in the link below. A tap here and there fixes it sometimes but it is getting worse. A while back i replaced my fan and my HDD could I have knocked something loose to cause this. Also another way to reproduce it is to squeeze the right side of the display, is there something there? Please let me know what I can do to fix this annoyance.

Options

Hook it up to an external monitor and see if it works OK. If it does not you may have a defective Nvidia Video processor and Apple will replace the logic board for free. If it does you may need to replace the display data cable and/or check the connections.
