when on the call, speaking. other phone cant really hear.

hi im kave frm malaysia

i have a iphone 3gs, the problem im facing is when on the call, im talking to other phone. they really cant hear my voice. some time is clear sometime not. even the vol is max. other just say i speak very soft and ask me speak louder.

is tht a problem with my iphone and my iphone 4 no problem with it.

I'd check the dock connector- microphone is on this. More than likely will need to replace if a good dust off doesn't work. See guide for mic/dock/speaker link is top right on this page
