I have decided to replace my lcd screen with bezel. It seems harder than just replacing lcd screen. I managed to scatch the flex cable for motor, power etc with tweezers. So, I have ordered new flex cable aswell.
Back to the question, on top of the heatsink it looks like thermal paste. Should I just put thermal paste on my new bezel?? Or where can I get what's on there now.

If the new screen with frame does not come with that then you should transfer it carefully to the new frame to the same location.
That is basically a thermal pad that transfers heat from the logic board to the frame to dissipate it.
I'm assuming it sits under the CPU part of the board.
You wouldn't want a thermal throttling phone would you?

I see..It does sit below the CPU part of the board.. I don't think I will be able to transfer it. I will need to buy new thermal pad. I'm guessing 0.5mm thickness thermal pad is the best.
